This work is inspired by one of my photos of trees. It is made on Nepalese paper, made with the bark of a tree that grows in the Himalayas between 2500 m of altitude and 3000 m of altitude, it is collected every 7 years it is the inhabitants of this region who make the paper. What matters to me is the manufacture of the paper that I use, in fact the tree is still alive. It is part of my ecological approach towards the planet. I have the feeling of sublimating this Nepalese paper by working it. Helene stevens
